The Structure of the JS500 Concrete Mixer
The 500 mixer that we usually refer to is the JS500 concrete mixer, which belongs to a kind of forced mixer. The structural design of the 500 mixer is also relatively simple, so we will mainly explain the construction details of the equipment.
Mixing system
The main components of the mixing system of the 500 mixer are: mixing shaft, mixing arm, mixing cylinder, mixing blades and side blades. There are two mixing shafts installed horizontally in the mixing cylinder of the mixer, each of which has a mixing blade installed on top. The mixing arms near the ends of the drum are equipped with side blades, which help to scrape off the adhering concrete from the end surfaces and to change the direction of the concrete flow.
Transmission system
The main configuration of the 500 mixer transmission system includes gearbox, pulley, motor and open gears. The motor drives the secondary gearbox through the pulley, which in turn drives two pairs of open gears through two open pinions and two open large gears, respectively driving the two horizontally arranged mixing shafts to rotate at equal speed.
Feeding and discharging system
When the 500 mixer is loaded, the weighed aggregate mixture will be loaded into the hopper, then the loading system will be started, the hopper will be pulled by the steel wire rope and climb upwards at an equal speed, when it reaches the specified height, the hopper will enter the loading frame and the hopper door will open automatically, the material in the hopper will be discharged into the mixing cylinder through the funnel.
Water supply system
The water supply system of the 500 mixer mainly consists of motor, pump, throttle valve, cleaning device and spray pipe. The water for concrete mixing is sent to the spraying pipe through the throttle valve of the pump, which can adjust the flow of water.
Electrical control system
All the control buttons and air switch handles and indicators of the 500 mixer are on the door of the distribution box and are fitted with door locks. The buttons are fitted with protective covers.
